I am greatly honored to present the NAVIKA 2nd World Kannada Summit. We will host it in the great city of Boston from August 30th to September 1st, 2013.

It is a moment of great pride for us, the kannadigas of Boston, who have been here, and have nurtured the Kannada community for the past 40 years. Our combined efforts fostered the New England Kannada Koota to its 40th year. Let us work together to harmoniously conduct the 2013 summit that will draw Kannadigas from all walks of life. It will bring together artists, celebrities, dignitaries, entrepreneurs, and the Kannadiga connoisseur from far and wide.We look forward to extend a joyous welcome to all and display genial New-England Kannada hospitality as you enjoy the three-day celebration of art, literature, culture and tradition.

Through this summit I intend to present our world class Kannada talent in diverse genres including drama, dance, music, comedy, literary forums, business forums and CME. We will organize these events with the help of individuals with talent of the highest caliber and aim to deliver programs with unprecedented thoroughness and organization, leaving a lasting impression in the minds of our audience.

Of course, no grand gathering is complete without great food! We aspire to serve the attendees the most authentic Kannada food in addition to outstanding hospitality.

Conducting an event of this magnitude successfully is a herculean task and requires immense manpower and monetary support. I am certain that I can count on the relentless support and encouragement of my Kannada brethren. I can also rely on the magnanimity of the Kannada friends and family.

I implore all of you to come join me with enthusiasm and vigor. We will work hand in hand and stand shoulder to shoulder in making this event a grand, resounding success and a memorable event. This will not only help to exemplify our ideals to the rest of the world but will sow the seeds of pride and ownership among our youth. I sincerely believe that we as one can achieve this with great success.

Arise fellow vishwa Kannadigas and come forth as one, with all your near and dear to witness the display of Kannada heritage and culture at its best.
